Bacchanallin’ (partying) originates from the name of the Roman God Bacchus, the god of the grape harvest and winemaking. There is also an optional 16 measure lead soli with the chord changes provided to allow the performers an pportunity to improvise. Written for Lead, Double Tenor, Double Seconds, Cello, Bass and Drum set.

Canboulay was influenced by the Canboulay Riots that took place in Trinidad in 1881. This riot has become a symbol of resistance and rebellion against authority in Trinidad and Tobago. Canboulay was written by Aaron Ziegler for Rob Desmond, the director of percussion at the Toledo School for the Arts, and his students, the members of Glass City Steel. ​​Written for Lead, Double Tenor, Double Seconds, Cello, Bass and Drum set.

Dreams of You

Written by Aaron in an effort to explore complex harmonies, mixed with the beautiful melody and light samba feel, to allow for your band to show off its musicality. “Dreams Of You” is dedicated to Aaron’s wife Janet Brehm Ziegler. Written for Lead, Double Tenor, Double Seconds, Cello, Bass and Drum set.

Everybody Winin’ is an original composition written to help introduce syncopation to beginning bands. The fun melody in C major features the lead and double tenor players and the optional repeat and provided chord changes give players the choice of improvising a solo or playing the pre-composed soli. Written for Lead, Double Tenor, Double Seconds, Cello, Bass and Drum set.
